What changed in the July 20 Village at City Park site plan?

The July 20 Planning Commission work session included a revised concept plan. The most visible change was removal of the earlier townhome component and replacement with additional mixed-use space.

Townhomes removed

The earlier concept included townhomes. In the July 20 concept, that area was changed to ground-floor commercial space with one residential story above.

Existing mixed-use footprint reduced

The three-story mixed-use building—with commercial or retail space on the first floor and apartments above—remained, but its displayed footprint was smaller.

Residential layout revised

Detached-home lots and internal circulation were revised. The plan continued to show terraced detached homes on small lots, deeper single-family lots, and single-family homes mainly along Easterling Road and the western side.

Still a concept plan

The displayed July 20 plan is not a final plat, engineering plan, or approved zoning document. Exact dimensions, unit counts, infrastructure details, and binding development standards remain subject to formal review.
